You can listen to it or read it — disregard a couple of minor bloopers.
The Dogefight of our Lives
Like many of you, I was appalled by the Democrat scream fest outside of USAID in the wake of DOGE disclosures that millions of taxpayer dollars had been spent on ludicrous programs abroad.
Their tirades about fighting back to preserve the status quo – which is continued government waste and fraud – betray the very people they supposedly work for. They should have said:
What has been uncovered at USAID by DOGE is egregious. The people of this country deserve better from this government and we will work with our colleagues across the aisle to do what’s best for our constituents and the nation.
Instead, they arrogantly sent the following message:
Your money is ours to play with as we see fit and we don’t care if it has a direct impact on your life or the security of this nation. We will do with it as we please and we are here to say F U -- we are going to yell and scream and make noise and fight dirty to keep the coffers overflowing with more and more of your hard-earned money that we spend on senseless programs abroad. You plebes will know, by listening to us and hearing our tone and minding our words, how much we despise you! You are nothing more to us than a till filled with cash.
They should have put the histrionics aside for another day and hopped on board the government efficiency train out of respect, not for Musk or Trump or any other politician, but out of respect for you and me.
Once again, they chose to side with waste and fraud – leaving hard-working taxpayers in the dust. They learned nothing from this past election where an overwhelming majority of Americans of all creeds, backgrounds, colors, ages, religions, and genders voted against the government frivolously burning through our money and spending us into poverty. They turned a deaf ear to the calls for accountability and the clean-up of government waste and fraud, that drove 77 million people to the polls to vote for Republicans and reject the policies and governance of the Clinton-Obama-Biden era.
They made indisputably clear that they would rather defend the absurd and criminal, than their constituents – openly putting party and spendthrift behavior above the people to whom they owe a constitutional duty.
This is a disservice to voters, who expected those in the Beltway to be good stewards of their tax dollars earned while working one or two jobs and attending school, trying to make ends meet; getting up early and getting home late to their families, missing important milestones as they try to earn a buck; balancing families and careers with the expensive care of elderly parents; enduring economic downturns, corporate restructurings, and government-imposed lockdowns that put careers on hold or set them back financially; paying extraordinary medical bills; and foregoing necessary expenses in order to pay their taxes.
All of us are just striving for the tiniest sliver of the American Dream that members of Congress seem to have gobs of.
All of their talk about the People, unity, equality, and purple states is just Democrat speak to get elected, and more and more Americans can see that they have been hoodwinked by the Democrat Machine.
All we want is to use our own money to purchase our homes, fund our retirements, educate our children, and provide for our healthcare. Instead, by enriching others at our expense, we are forced to suck at the teat of government largesse, ironically funded by us, while Washington throws our money away as if it were Monopoly money.
Millions of Americans -- Democrats and Republicans alike, straight and gay, black and white, Jewish and Gentile, employer and employee, legal immigrant and citizen -- could do more good spending that money on their families and in their communities than giving it to the US government.
The other day in front of the USAID, loud-mouthed, power-hungry Democrats showed the world two things: that they didn’t like the fact that they and their slush funds were under scrutiny, and that they oozed nothing but disdain for the very people who provided them with those funds – proving that the people we entrust with our money do not value it as much as we do.
They leave us to eat cake while they feast on caviar purchased with our tax dollars.
That’s cold. They cannot even see (or if they can, they don’t care) that they are preserving their power at the expense of our freedoms.
This is the definition of absolute power corrupting absolutely. And, it is so blatant that more eyes are opened every day to the realities of their betrayals – and it is up to us to seize on these opportunities.
The Tea Party and MAGA have been steps along the way for common-sense conservatives to gain control of Washington D.C., exposing the issues and the media, while making inroads in having a voice in alternative media.
Now that we control the major levers of power in Washington and are seeking to neuter the deep state as well, and the legacy media has fallen into total disrepute, you and I are faced with the real fight – the dogefight of our lives – not just to eliminate waste and fraud, but to return the power to the people.
It is perhaps the most important war we will ever fight without guns. Now, every one of us, every one we know, including lefties and politicians, will have to decide if they are pro-DOGE and for the People; or, pro-waste and fraud, and for unaccountable Democrat elites?
If ever there was a time to wear your pro-DOGE badge proudly, it is now. There is only so much that DOGE and the Trump administration can do, although part of our mission is to support and defend them as the left launches their attacks. But changing hearts and minds, well, that falls on us.
Hey, we’ve been practicing for this since the first Tea Party. Our mission is not only to defend DOGE, MAGA policies, and the Trump Administration, but also to convince friends and family who continue to support the Democrat Politburo, that they are on the wrong side of freedom and the American Dream and are, instead, supporting tyranny and an American nightmare.
Every dogfight in the skies during WWII mattered and had a role to play in the ultimate outcome of the war. They were the tiniest of battles – plane on plane, pilot vs. pilot – with the most consequential of outcomes.
Every dogefight at the dinner table or at the gym, matters, and will play a role in restoring power to the People. They might be the tiniest of battles, but every dogefight we win brings us closer to restoring the balance of power in the Republic.
So, buckle up. It’s going to be a turburlent ride, but we’re in it together.
Thanks for reading or listening,
Sally
