Bezos doesn't "believe." He is responding to the marketplace. As soon as the winds change direction, he will too. How idiotic that his editor couldn't muster enough enthusiasm for pro-liberty, pro-free speech editorials, so much so that he'd instead step down. Sad, sad, sad.

I am in the camp that Bezos would be swinging the other way had Kamala Harris been elected - yikes to that thought! Ditto for Zuckerberg and many others who now APPEAR pro freedom. This includes all the CEOs dropping DEI. They would be embracing DEI if Harris had been installed president.

Yes, some former Democrats have seen the light (Musk, Kennedy Jr., Gabbard, etc.), but many others will change in less than a minute if they needed to. They have no core values except the dollar.

Just happy Bezos is shaking up the liberal swamp, known as Wash Post. Dare I dream and hope that NY Times will be next? Perhaps Zuckerberg should buy it and follow Bezos example 😅. Things are changing, for the better!

It sounds as if he got the message of the November election. People want to hear both sides of an issue. Let's see if he can deliver.

Yes, another voice in support of ideals is appreciated. I still would prefer the restoration of Journalism to the front pages, and the limitation of Opinion to the Editorial pages.

Thanks, Sally, for carrying on!

Right on point again. 👍👏🏻

It seems real journalism has failed. It would be a great and an informative read if both sides were presented with facts or reasons backing up each claim. There are still the "headline only" readers who will never know EITHER side, I'm afraid.

Instead we've become accustomed to one sided views with the only mention of the alternate ideas would be to say they're liars, extremists, racists, or some other category that prevents discussion of their ideas.

Yes. You can and should have your own opinion, but understanding the other side helps honest discussion. (🤔well SOMETIMES helps🙄😁)

Possibly this might tie in with our failing education system. But that's just my thought.🤷🏻‍♂️

Thank you Sally, for your thought provoking writing.

Dang.....

I see my thumbs once again got carried away on this tiny screen. I'll try to control them better (maybe next time🤦🏻‍♂️)

Happy Hump Day everyone!
